Functions to work with text.
NumberToString is a Voltask core block that converts a number into text. It takes one input, number, and returns one output, result, which holds the number as a string.
ToJSON converts an object or variable into a JSON-formatted text string, handling nested structures through voltask-infer. Input: data. Output: jsonString. Typically placed before an outgoing HTTP request that requires a strict JSON payload.
Format builds custom text from a template with dynamic variables written between double braces, such as Bonjour {{nom}}, resolved by the voltask-orchestrator. Output: result (the final string). Example: compose a personalized email body before an SMTP block.
ReplaceText is a Voltask core block that replaces text inside a string. Inputs: text, old, new. Output: result. The reference sheet lists only these parameters, so it serves as a quick lookup for how the block is wired in a scenario.
ChunkText is a Voltask core block that splits a text into chunks. Inputs: text, size, overlap. Output: result. Size sets the length of each chunk and overlap the part shared between consecutive chunks, as the input names indicate.
