The AI Generation window opens from the editor, either through the AI Generation button (found in the file browser and in the project), or from the keyboard with Cmd+Shift+G (Ctrl+Shift+G on Windows and Linux).

It is organized into 6 tabs — a bit like the tabs of a web browser — each dedicated to a type of content you can generate with AI. In the order the interface shows them:

Text · Video · Image · Audio · Generations · Tools

The sections below present them in a learning order rather than in screen order: start with the Text tab, which is by far the richest.

At the top of every tab, a Monthly usage gauge shows your consumption as 3.25/30 ©, followed by the reset date ("Resets on 1 October"). The bar turns red as soon as the limit is reached. Two small round buttons sit next to it: + and ? — these are documentation links (credits on one side, generation help on the other), not a purchase button. To change plan, go to your account settings, Subscription tab.

How many AI credits am I allowed each month?

The monthly quota depends on your Celestory subscription, not on a fixed number for everyone:

Plan AI credits / month
Free trial (no paid subscription) 1
Personal account (Pro) 5
Organization account (Business) 30
Custom account On quote (extra credits)

(A legacy "Premium" tier still exists in the system and also grants 5 credits per month.)

The counter resets on the 1st of each month. The full breakdown of tiers, prices and what happens when the quota runs out is in the dedicated article: AI Credits and Subscription.

What exactly consumes a credit?

A "credit" is not the same as "one action". The accounting is finer than it looks, and it is worth knowing before a long session:

What you do What the counter deducts
Send a message in the Text tab chat ¼ of a credit — 4 messages per credit
Launch an Image / Video / Audio generation from the editor 1 credit per generation
An AI text request block fired in-game 0.01 credit
An AI image request block fired in-game 0.05 credit
A generation that fails 0 — failures are never charged
A tool call relayed by an MCP server 0 — those exchanges are not counted

The counter resets on the 1st of the month (UTC).

🔺 The © badge shown next to each model indicates its relative cost (a "3 ©" model is three times more expensive to run than a "1 ©" one). It is a useful signal when choosing, but it is not what the monthly counter deducts: today the "Monthly usage" gauge counts generations according to the table above, without weighting by model.
